Your journey begins at 7:45 AM, the perfect time to capture stunning sunrise-lit photos and enjoy the beaches before the crowds arrive. We’ll meet at a designated spot and set off on a scenic island-style taxi ride to Grand Anse, the starting point of your trek. As you make your way through lush tropical landscapes, you’ll be surrounded by panoramic ocean views and exotic wildlife—keep an eye out for the rare Seychelles Paradise Flycatcher, geckos, palm spiders, and unique island flora like Cinnamon, Indian Mulberry, and Pandanus trees.
The 2-hour guided hike will lead you along rocky pathways and through dense jungle, rewarding you with Anse Marron’s breathtaking beauty. Spend two relaxing hours soaking in this secluded paradise, swimming in a natural rock pool safely sheltered by giant granite boulders, or snorkeling in the crystal-clear waters (weather permitting). 07:45 am - Meet at the designated meeting point.
08:00 am - Island-style taxi ride to Grand Anse, enjoying the scenic views along the way.
08:30 am - Begin your hike.

What you need to know before you go
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE
The tour is available for adults and kids from 6 years of age, due to safety reasons no pregnant women.
WHAT TO BRING
We recommend you bring comfortable shoes/sandals to walk on the Island and beach accessories, a waterproof bag, reef shoes, sun cream, mosquito spray, 2 liters of water per person, etc. This is not obligatory to participate in the tour.
WEATHER CONDITIONS
This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund. Your safety is important to us. We will not take you out at sea if the conditions are not safe!
MEETING POINT
If you are coming from Praslin or Mahe, I will meet you at the jetty on La Digue. Please let us know in advance.
PHYSICAL CONDITION
The tour is a moderate hiking tour. You should be possible to walk for 1,5 hours without long breaks. We walk up and down the rocks, in the forest, and also on the reef in the sea at low tide.
