Your journey begins at the southern end of Bel Ombre Road, among the last houses in the charming village. We offer hotel pickups in Mahe North, or you can meet us at the Victoria Tourism Office. The Anse Major Trail is a favorite for hikers and nature lovers, offering an exciting 1 to 1.5-hour hike. The trail starts on a paved road and then winds along the coast, revealing geological wonders, panoramic vistas, and pristine ecological sites, each more captivating than the last.

Upon reaching Anse Major Bay, you'll have a full hour to relax on the sandy shores, take a refreshing swim, and indulge in a light lunch while surrounded by the peaceful beauty of this secluded beach. 08:30 am - Pick-up at your hotel in the Northern part of Mahe Island.
09:00 am - Start hiking.
10:00 am - Arrive at Anse Major Bay.
11:00 am - The return hike starts.
12:30 am - Drop-off at your hotel in the Northern part of Mahe Island.
