What you need to know before you go
IMPORTANT Please kindly make an online reservation here before you send me all your further questions via email to confirm your serious interest. We want to reassure you that we will do our best to fulfill all your wishes regarding colors, flowers, music, decoration, beach, transport, etc. Our target is to make your day unforgettable and make your special day and dream wedding a reality. All further wishes can be discussed once after you make your reservation.
NEEDED DOCUMENTS You need to provide the following documents 12 working days in advance:
Birth Certificate.
Copy of your passports (photo pages and data page, first two pages).
Certificates of Non-Impediments (proving you are not Married at present).
Divorce decree certificate or death certificate (if previously married or widowed).
Name Change Certificate (in case that the name differs from the name on the birth certificate).
All Documents should be in English or French Language. Otherwise, certified translations are needed. Make sure to bring with you all original documents to be presented for Authentication.
"Lateness fee" of 45 Euro applies if documents arrive and are submitted 11 - 7 working days before the wedding date.
An extra fee of 100 Euro applies if the wedding is on the weekend or during public holidays.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Legally conducted marriage in Seychelles is recognized under European Laws.
The couple getting married should arrive in Seychelles at least three days before the wedding date. This is per the Seychelles legal regulations.
The marriage is being conducted in English or French by the Seychelles’ Registrar following Seychelles’ Law.
You are not obliged to visit the Civil Status office at all. Your wedding can be conducted anywhere, on the beach, in your hotel room, etc.
If you are traveling alone for the legal wedding ceremony two witnesses are necessary. The two witnesses could be provided from our side (Free of Charge).
Wedding ceremonies are preferable to be held during weekdays (Monday to Friday) as the beaches are emptier and the desired wedding time can be coordinated individually.
Additional fees apply for a double set of marriage certificates with apostille and 2 verification letters required for UAE residents. Kindly contact us for details.
PASSPORT INFORMATION
Swiss passport holders and residents should travel with 2 sets of certified copies and all Original documents (applicable for both partners).
French passport holders and residents have to follow a different procedure. Please contact your local municipality or the French embassy on Mahe, Phone No: +248 382500, Email: marie-may.confiance@diplomatie.gouv.fr to receive relevant information.
Russian passport holders and residents will need a translation of the Seychelles Marriage Certificate by the Russian Embassy on Mahe (65 euros).
Qatar/UAE residents will require our attested documents package for the legalization of their marriage. We will take care of everything!
For Filipino nationals, we can provide the full procedure of registration of their marriage at the Philippines Embassy (360 euros).
ENTRY FORMALITIES SEYCHELLES There are no visa requirements to enter Seychelles – irrespective of the nationality of the visitor and the family members. You have to provide only these documents to get a visitor’s permit (free for 3 months) at the Seychelles International Airport:
Passport, valid at least 6 months after the estimated departure date.
Return / onward flight ticket.
Proof of accommodation, e.g. hotel voucher.
Sufficient funds for the duration of your stay.
ADDITIONAL SERVICES
Car Transfer to and from the wedding venues: from 75 euros – 100 euros.
