What you need to know before you go

START TIME
Please contact the tour provider at least 3 days before the tour to confirm the start time, as it depends on the tides.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
IN CASE NO STARTING TIMES ARE AVAILABLE ONLINE it is important for all guests to contact us at Crystal Water Kayaks 3 days before the tour date via WhatsApp (after the booking has been confirmed on TourBookers) as we will then re-confirm tour times, starting location and your itinerary. Our contact details can be found on your voucher. If no contact is made via WhatsApp the tour will not be guaranteed.

Please be advised that June to September is the windy season so please be advised kayaking will be more challenging than usual.

TERMS & CONDITIONS
STARTING TIME
- The glass kayak tour starting time is every day different as we are dependent on the tides.
- Starting time can vary from 08 am to 4 pm.
- If no starting times are available online the tour starting time can be communicated earliest 3 days before the tour.
- In this case, all guests have to contact us 3 days before the tour date via WhatsApp (after the booking has been confirmed on TourBookers) as then we will communicate the starting times (ONLY in case the times are not available online). Contact details can be found on your voucher. If no contact is made via WhatsApp for the starting time the tour will not be re-confirmed. Alternatively, you can visit our Kiosk (Crystal Water Kayaks Kiosk) at Anse Source D'argent Beach (inside the L‘union Estate Park) in order to let you know the exact starting time for your tour.

GUEST COMING FROM MAHE OR PRASLIN
If you book an afternoon tour we can not guarantee that the tour will finish by the time the last ferry leaves La Digue Island to Mahe or Praslin Island.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE
This activity is designed for families with kids from 5 years of age, people of different ages, and those who can or cannot swim.

WEATHER CONDITIONS
This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund. Your safety is important to us. We will not take you out at sea if the conditions are not free from danger!

WHAT TO BRING
We recommend you bring comfortable shoes/sandals to walk on the Island and beach accessories, a waterproof bag, reef shoes, sun cream, etc. This is not obligatory to participate in the tour.

SAFETY ASPECTS
- Physical Condition: Due to safety reasons no pregnant women are allowed to participate.
- Weight safety restrictions:
* A combined weight of 170 kg (375 pounds) max per kayak (two guests).
* Max individual weight no more than 95 kg (210 pounds)for 1st seat.
* 2nd seat should therefore be less than 80 kg (175 pounds) per seat.
* If an individual is more than 100 kg (220 pounds) they are then required to reserve a full kayak for themselves which means they are required to pay for 2 seats. In the event one person alone blocks a kayak, the maximum rider weight should not exceed 125 kg (275 pounds).

NUMBER OF REQUIRED PARTICIPANTS
This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.

VALUABLES AND LUGGAGE
Be aware that we are not responsible if your belongings get wet, lost, or damaged during the tour.

CHANGES BOOKING DATE
Changes to your booking date can be made by contacting Crystal Water Kayaks directly on WhatsApp.

PAYMENT INFORMATION
Payments can be made by cash in euros, dollars, or Seychelles rupee. The tour price is per person and not per kayak.

SINGLE BOOKING
As all kayaks are doubled & the price set was based on two people sharing. Single individuals are required to share a kayak with another single person.

In the event a single person does not want to share a kayak & requires an entire kayak for themselves they can book two seats & the kayak will be reserved for them privately.
