This relaxed day tour starts at Eden Island Jetty on Mahé and takes you by glass-bottom boat into the protected waters of St. Anne Marine Park. It’s a gentle, nature-focused experience that combines cruising, swimming, and island time, ideal for travelers who want to see marine life both above and below the water.

After boarding the modern glass-bottom boat, the journey begins with slow cruising through the marine park. Through the clear glass panels, you’ll watch tropical fish and coral reefs pass beneath your feet as your guide points out the underwater life. The boat then pauses for a fish-feeding session, giving you a closer look as schools of fish gather around.

Next, there’s time to snorkel at selected spots in the park for those who wish to get into the water. If you prefer to stay on board, you can continue enjoying the views from above. The tour then heads to Long Island Beach, where you can relax, swim, or simply enjoy the peaceful setting.

From there, you’ll visit Moyenne Island, known for its natural landscape and wildlife. You’ll have time to explore the island on foot and take in its surroundings before enjoying a Creole lunch and BBQ served on the beach. After some free time to snorkel, beachcomb, or unwind, the boat returns to Eden Island Jetty.

This experience is well suited to couples, families, and first-time visitors who want an easygoing way to explore Seychelles’ marine life and islands in one day. Snorkeling is optional, and some walking is involved during the island visits.

ITINERARY
09:15 - 09:45 - Pick-up from your hotel on Mahe Island, Seychelles (if the hotel is very far the pick-up time might be earlier).
10:00 -10:30 - Start of the glass bottom boat tour.
10:45 - Arrive at St. Anne Marine Park (not the island of the same name but water area of the marine park) and start glass bottom boat viewing.
11:00 - Fish feeding.
11:15 - Snorkeling at St. Anne Marine Park.
12:15 - Visit Long Island beach.
13:15 - Visit Moyenne island & see the giant turtles. / Alternatively, enjoy and walk over the sandbank, as its existence depends on the tide.
14:00 - Local creole Lunch & BBQ on the beach on Cerf Island.
15:30 - Leisure time for snorkeling at the beach on Cerf Island.
16:00 - 16:30 - Arrive at Jetty on Mahe Island and drop off back to your hotel on Mahe Island.

What you need to know before you go

PICK UP INFORMATION
Clients need to contact the tour provider via WhatsApp one day before the tour to receive their exact pick-up time. This time will be based on the location of the hotel on the island, but it is still approximate. Clients are kindly asked to wait patiently in the hotel lobby until the driver arrives, as traffic, picking up other clients across the island, and occasionally waiting for other clients can lead to delays. Thank you for your understanding.

The 6-hour tour runs from pick-up to drop-off. You are not losing tour time while waiting for the pick up.

SELF DRIVING
Clients who do not require pick-up and prefer to use their own car are welcome to do so – free parking is available on site.
Please let us know in advance via WhatsApp if you plan to arrive by car.

BOAT DESCRIPTION
33 feet long bottom glass boat with a covered deck.

MEETING POINT
In case you have your own car and do not need to pick it up kindly let us know in advance via WhatsApp app for us to coordinate the time and meeting point. The meeting point is Eden Island, next to Boardwalk Bar & Grill Restaurant.

VALUABLES AND LUGGAGE
Be aware that we are not responsible if your belongings get wet, lost, or damaged during the tour.

WEATHER CONDITIONS
This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund. Your safety is important to us. We will not take you out at sea if the conditions are not free from danger!

PAYMENT INFORMATION
Payments can be made by cash in euro or Seychelles rupee, and with a credit card but in this case with a 5% fee.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE
This activity is designed for families with kids, people of different ages, and those that can swim or even cannot swim.

WHAT TO BRING
We recommend you bring comfortable shoes/sandals to walk on the Island and beach accessories, a waterproof bag, reef shoes, sun cream, etc. This is not obligatory to participate in the tour.
