FULL DESCRIPTION
Discover the beauty of Curieuse Island on a full-day tour, departing from Anse Possession, Praslin Island at 9:00 am. After a scenic cruise, you’ll be greeted by our friendly local guide and the island’s famous Aldabra giant tortoises at Laraie Bay. These ancient, gentle creatures freely roam the island, offering a magical start to your adventure.

Curieuse is rich in history, once serving as a leper colony from 1829 to 1965. As you explore, you’ll see the remains of the old leprosarium, walk through lush mangroves, and relax on beautiful beaches. The island is also home to the rare Coco de Mer palm and the elusive Seychelles Black Parrot, adding to its unique charm.

After a guided hike through the island’s vibrant ecosystem, enjoy a mouthwatering Creole barbecue, featuring fresh fish, chicken, rice, and local salads, all prepared with Seychelles' traditional flavors.

In the afternoon, embark on a one-hour snorkeling adventure around the stunning St Pierre Island, with gear provided. Dive into crystal-clear waters and explore the colorful marine life surrounding this iconic rocky island.

The tour concludes with a cruise back to Anse Possession at around 3:30 pm, followed by a transfer to your location on Praslin. Don’t miss out on this unforgettable experience of nature, history, and adventure!

ITINERARY
08:30 am: Pick-up from your accommodation.
09:00 am: Meet at Anse Possession – Starting point of the tour.
09:30 am: Arrive at Curieuse Island. Enjoy a safety briefing followed by a 3-hour exploration, including sightseeing, hiking, and wildlife viewing.
12:30 pm: Enjoy a delicious Creole BBQ picnic on the beach with beer and soft drinks.
01:30 pm: Relax and swim at Curieuse’s pristine beaches, discovering its natural beauty.
02:30 pm: Snorkel in the crystal-clear waters of St Pierre Island Marine Park.
03:30 pm: Return to Anse Possession for drop-off and transfer back to your Praslin accommodation.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE
This activity is designed for families with kids, people of different ages, and those who can or cannot swim.

WHAT TO BRING
We recommend you bring comfortable shoes/sandals to walk on the Island and beach accessories, a waterproof bag, reef shoes, sun cream, etc. This is not obligatory to participate in the tour.

WEATHER CONDITIONS
This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund. Your safety is important to us. We will not take you out at sea if the conditions are not free from danger!
