Curieuse Island is a haven for wildlife enthusiasts and nature lovers. Prepare to be amazed as you encounter the gentle giants of the island, the giant tortoises. These magnificent creatures freely roam the island, and you'll have the chance to observe them up close and personal. Afterwards you will go on your own on a captivating hike through Curieuse's lush trails, where you'll discover hidden gems and immerse yourself in the island's rich biodiversity. Our guide will explain you where to go and will meet you at the end point of your hike.

After working up an appetite, it's time to indulge in a mouthwatering treat. At Curieuse Island, we will serve you a freshly made Creole BBQ, tantalizing your taste buds with a variety of grilled seafood, chicken, vibrant salads, and traditional Creole side dishes. As you savor each bite, take in the stunning surroundings, surrounded by pristine beaches and turquoise waters.

Once refueled and refreshed, it's time to dive into the mesmerizing underwater world of St Pierre Island. Known for its vibrant coral reefs and abundant marine life, this snorkeling spot will leave you in awe. Put your snorkeling gear and plunge into the crystal-clear waters, swimming among colorful fish, intricate corals, and perhaps even encountering graceful sea turtles. But the adventure doesn't end there. We'll then whisk you away to Anse Lazio Beach, a postcard-perfect stretch of pristine sand. ITINERARY
08:30 am - Pick up from your hotel on Praslin island.
09:00 am - Departure to Curieuse Island.
10:00 am - Visiting giant tortoises and hiking on your own at Curieuse Island.
12:00 pm - Freshly made creole BBQ at Curieuse island.
02:00 pm - Snorkeling at the famous St Pierre island.
04:00 pm - Arrive back on Praslin Island.
04:30 pm - Drop off at your hotel on Praslin Island.

What you need to know before you go

MEETING POINT
You can choose between New Jetty on Praslin island OR in front of La Goulue restaurant/ L’Hirondelle guest house. Just let us know via WhatsApp! This meeting point is for clients who aren't eligible for the FREE pick-up and drop-off service, or simply prefer not to use it.

TRANSFER / PICK UP / DROP OFF
We can arrange transfers to and from the start/end points of our tours for hotels that are not covered by the FREE pick-up and drop-off service, at an additional cost. Just let us know via WhatsApp!

BOAT DESCRIPTION
Very spacious boat with a powerful Suzuki engine and super comfortable padded seats that let you enjoy the sun and the delightful sea breeze.

CURIEUSE ISLAND FEE
Curieuse island fee of 20 Euro per person is not included in the price. It can be paid cash or by card upon the arrival on the island or also through their website (www.spga.gov.sc). Kids under 12 are free and don’t pay the Curieuse Island fee.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE
This activity is designed for families with kids, people of different ages, and those who can or cannot swim.

WHAT TO BRING
We recommend you bring comfortable shoes/sandals to walk on the Island and beach accessories, a waterproof bag, reef shoes, sun cream, etc. This is not obligatory to participate in the tour.

WEATHER CONDITIONS
This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund. Your safety is important to us. We will not take you out at sea if the conditions are not free from danger!

SAFETY ASPECTS
Life Jackets are provided on board! Each trip is carried out with total respect towards nature, and its preservation, and our top priority is the safety of our clients.
