The succession of fragrances and the contrast of a multitude of colors will enrich this outing which alternates between the past and the present. Discovering the colonial houses with their ancient charm, tasting our Local favorite teas surrounded with a panoramic view of the domain and the South part of the island and visit the natural park of La Vanilla Nature Park, with its large Crocodile from the Nile, Giant Tortoise from the Aldabra Island, its lush vegetation, the private butterfly collections and different insect’s species of the insectariums.

What you will expect
The day starts at 08.30 a.m. and ends at 04.00 p.m.
Your trip starts with the visit of the Domaine des Aubineaux, colonial house of the late 19th century, where you will be immersed in the history and discover the antique furnitures dating back to "Compagnie des Indes" (17th century).
You will drive through Bois Chéri, the first tea plantations of Mauritius in the village of Bois Chéri, where you can discover the process of tea manufacturing.
The Sugar Estate, Saint Aubin, in the South is another stop on the Tea Route. The process of sugar manufacturing will be explained with the opportunity of tasting rum and a lunch will be provided at Saint Aubin Restaurant.
The next visit will be at La Vanille Réserve des Mascareignes, which is home to various species of animals, reptiles and plants is set in a beautiful rain forested valley with natural freshwater springs, full of prawns and fish.
