Birding Seychelles
At 19, Steve Agricole began working on Cousin Island, where conservation became a way of life. Though he missed home, his passion for wildlife helped him adapt quickly. Under Dr. Rachel Bristol, he learned to handle birds, take samples, and study Seychelles warblers. His birdwatching skills grew when monitoring the critically endangered Seychelles Magpie Robin. He spent hours tracking nests, often sacrificing trips to Praslin, proving his dedication. Steve later worked on Aride, Silhouette, and Alphonse islands. In 2012, he founded Birding Seychelles, offering expert birding tours. A supporter of the African Bird Club, he contributes to the Seychelles Bird Records Committee. Join Birding Seychelles for an unforgettable birding experience!
